My dad posted me a DVD of my old band’s only TV appearance today. It’s got me miming in it.
LATEST: Looks like I’m going to presenting at RailsConf 2007 in Portland before moving on to @media is SF, Hong Kong and finally London. May and June are going to be hectic.

Olly: No, unfortunately not. We were about before there was much music on the interweb (or I knew what I was doing with it) so the only place you find stuff is on CDs or vinyl in murk record shops in Manchester.

I so remember you guys from my time in Manchester. I remember just being transfixed by that drummer’s mad skills. The funny thing is I probably met you years ago and never realised. Ear Drum was probably one of the best nights in MCR!!!!!

BTW Dan, I dunno if you remember me, but I did some scratching on a track that you and Kev made long before King Rib. I saw you in the Surgery a few years ago when I was DJing and you did some drunken MCing for a few minutes. Haha.

- Peoples Music Store The latest project I've been involved with. It's a music download store with a really interesting twist. Needless to say, it'll worth keeping an eye on over the next few months
- Altern 8 - E-vapor-8 Quite simply the finest moment of my hometown, Stafford. Altern-8's video features them driving down the high street in a tank, the ancient high house (Stafford's old tourist attraction) and some of the local nutters. Amazing bit of dance music too.
- Necro - Mutilate The Beat Video Excellent tune. Maybe that or I have a dubious music taste. You decide. Classic hip hop video though. Blokes in hoodies on a fire escape pointing at you rhythmically.

- Unobtrusive AJAX with Rails, Dan Webb - Google Video A video of my presentation from RailsConf Europe last year. Theres about 5 minutes of me standing around at the start. Brilliant.
- RailsConf Keynote: Why the Lucky Stiff Why and The Thirsty Cups from last year's RailsConf. It was interesting watching all the sense of humour thresholds of various members of the audience as they played.
